Behavioral Notes:

• Strong feeding response with low strike accuracy and speed
• Spends majority of his time in his warm hide
• If he hears commotion or otherwise recognizes I’m in the room (e.g., smelling the scent of the dubia roach colony when I’m tending to them) he may come out of his hide to investigate and watch or wait for food
• Sometimes basks during the day or evening; coincides with afformentioned note
• Comfortably engages in choice based handling—this is used for husbandry tasks such as relocating to a temporary enclosure for weigh ins and enclosure cleanings or changes (as well as regular handling of course!)
